The Season Finale was founded in 1998, and is a curated presentation of three to four premieres commissioned from the works-in-progress recently shown at Series 8:08's Choreographic Performance Workshops. By presenting work that was influenced by workshop audience feedback, the Season Finale provides an opportunity to view dances in which audience members may feel a creative investment. Series 8:08 has brought audiences twenty-eight bold and exciting premieres through eight seasons of this program.
